Weighted Sit-ups ______________________________________________________ SCORE: Time to complete the couplet minus total reps of Candlesticks and Sit-ups, i.e., if the couplet was finished in 4 minutes you completed 50 total reps of Candlesticks + Sit-ups, the final time would be 3:10. GOAL: Athletes begin with Candlesticks or Inverted Burpees, which are technique-oriented skill movements. The pace shouldn’t be too crazy, as we want to preserve the integrity of the movements. Shoot for a 75-80 percent pace.
